CHAYIM | College and Young Adult

Chayim is a gathering space for college and young adults to find community, accountability, and the deepening of their faith. We meet after church twice a month.

“Chayim” is the Hebrew word for “life.” We are modeled after our church Life Groups, where the goal is to develop communities that live life together, but it is intentional in targeting the specific demographic of college and young adults. “Chayim” is also a plural word, which implies that life cannot be lived alone. Life needs to be lived with others. This is the vision of our ministry. The Hebrew word chayim (חַיִּים) contains two consecutive letters that picture the union of our spirit with God's Spirit. The word itself reveals that there is no life apart from union with God, who extends His hand to us and calls us to "live in Me.” Essentially within the single word “Chayim”, the vision of our ministry is revealed… fellowship with God and fellowship with others.
